Our Mission
Want to play a game that instills respect, fitness, team building, sportsmanship, fortitude, self dignity and life long camaraderie? It’s all burned in the game of rugby. Come play!
At Quad City Rugby we strive to provide rugby programs for all. Our programs introduce new people to the inclusive, empowering sport of rugby. We will share stories, teach the history of the game and aspire to elite athleticism, sound fundamentals and clean, intelligent play. You’ll join a global family and build stories you’ll share the rest of your days.
OUR YOUTH PROGRAM
ROOKIE RUGBY
Non-Contct Version of the game
Rookie Rugby is typically played in elementary and middle school programs and leagues until players are ready to be introduced to the traditional contact version of the game. It is popular in PE programs and park district programs as an excellent way to teach fitness, teamwork, decision-making, and inclusiveness.
Quad City Rugby is here to support educators, parents, and others looking to introduce rookie rugby programs and start leagues.
